Dr. Katie Haigh

Dr. Katie Haigh, a proud Delaware 'Blue Hen,' has spent over 20 years as a clinician and educator in the fertility and reproductive health field within her community. With three nursing degrees from the University of Delaware (UD) and groundbreaking doctoral research on Fertility Knowledge in Emerging Young Adults, she has helped shape Fyrtle’s LifePlan, empowering individuals to take control of their reproductive futures. Dr. Katie’s work continues to address the widespread knowledge gaps in fertility planning.

Katelyn Johnson

Katelyn brings a unique client advocacy perspective to Fyrtle as an esteemed venture capital leader and entrepreneur. She is currently Managing Partner at Cohen Circle and Owner at Wilderness Ventures. Her multi-talented background includes engineering expertise, product development, operations, and a profound knowledge and respect for the fertility journey. Katelyn holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the University of Delaware. Most significantly she is a proud and busy Mom to 3 wonderful kids.

Melissa Brisman, Esq.

Melissa is a highly respected attorney and distinguished pioneer in reproductive law, and has devoted her career to helping clients achieve parenthood via gestational carrier (GC) options. When this opportunity for achieving parenthood was not available 30 years ago, Melissa became her own first client and singlehandedly created GC options for her and her husband to have their 3 children. She subsequently created the highly successful Reproductive Possibilities agency to help countless clients build their families, and maintains an active law practice focused on reproductive options and adoption. Melissa is a Harvard Law School graduate and achieved a BS in accounting as valedictorian from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

Frances Schendle

Frances has served as a key advisor to the Fyrtle team, helping to formulate the LifePlan and other operational functions. She has been drawn to the fertility and healthcare sectors in her roles as Principal at Bain and Company for 12 years and her work as VP and General Manager at Alto Pharmacy, a leading fertility specialty pharmacy. Most recently she is the VP for Consultant Relations at Hello Heart. Frances holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and an AB from Princeton University.

Ben Cogan

Ben has been a strong advocate for Fyrtle’s mission and has been an advisor to Fyrtle since its inception. As a recognized expert in the DTC economy, Ben co-founded two highly successful companies (Hubble Contacts and Agora Brands), raising over $100 million dollars of investment capital, and has served as a mentor and advisor to numerous other start-up companies in the e-commerce space. Ben has a strong commitment to offering clients objective reproductive health information. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University.

Dr. Ron Feinberg

Medical Advisor

Dr. Ron Feinberg is a Board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist, with expertise in science-based, patient-centric care, and clinical research. Holding both an MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, he has focused on key areas of IVF care involving embryo development and implantation. He is the author of Healing Syndrome O: A Strategic Guide to Fertility, Polycystic Ovaries, and Insulin Imbalance and is serving as a clinical trial consultant to May Health, a company devoted to novel treatments for PCOS. Dr. Feinberg is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Heranova Lifesciences, a company developing new diagnostics and treatments for endometriosis and infertility. He was a co-founder of RADfertility in Delaware, and until recently he served as co-founder and Chief Medical Officer for RADfertility / CCRM-Delaware; he continues to serve as Principal Investigator for clinical trials at RADfertility. Dr. Feinberg is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has held faculty positions at Penn, Yale, Christiana Care, and University of Delaware.
